A Woman's Sanctification is Her Biblical Womanhood

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. (1 Corinthians 13:12)
I find this verse to be extremely comforting in all seasons. It gives me a very balanced perspective whether I feel like I'm on a mountain or in a valley. It is my pleasure to envision the time to come when all things are made new. Scripture makes it clear that when we wait with expectation of what is to come we purify ourselves or keep ourselves pure.
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. (1 John 3:2)
Pursuing Biblical Womanhood is equivalent to pursuing sanctification. The more we conform to the Word of God, the more womanly we become because God's Word trains us to reflect His ways. In this case on a practical level we can hear the instruction to cultivate hope in the fulfillment of God's promises to His people when His kingdom is fully established.
If we are not careful, without much effort, we can so easily set our minds on the things we can attain or acquire in this current world. We can easily build our lives around desires that equate to our "perfect life" on earth. The Word of God is written for us to understand that life with Him is perfect. We have a forward pursuit to reach the target of dwelling with Him eternally.
When the target is our focus we bring everything else into the reality of this life having a greater purpose, namely to serve God. Whether it is marriage, ministry, motherhood, education, etc. The proper heart position is to see God's purpose served through these things rather than our own desires (see Matthew 16:24).
Let 1 Corinthians 13:12 be a reminder that no matter where you are currently in life, there is more to come. The "more" that God wants us to set our sights on is the reign of His perfect eternal kingdom where we are transformed in His image and He dwells with us face to face.
